Local soul DJ brothers Barrows own Rob & Paul Mckeever will start the night at the Forum in Barrow In Furness on the 18th September 2010, these men who have been leading local figure’s in the soul scene since the beginning and Rob is the author of the book ‘History of Soul in Barrow’ and his second book ‘On The Right Track with Ginger Taylor’. Also appearing will be top national DJs : Ginger Taylor, Keith Fletcher, Pete Eccles and Dave Evison. For a great mix of mainly oldies, rare and not so rare Northern Soul and Motown. Chesterfield’s local DJs Carl Piper (The Phoenix Club, Kingsway Hall), Ian Gee (Chesterfields Godfather of Soul) will be joined by national guest DJs Smudge Smith, John Manship and Ted Massey at The Winding Wheel Chesterfield on the 2nd October 2010 for a Northern Soul and Motown Night.
